We’ve already said goodbye to 18 teams, and now only 14 remain. After this week, six more will be eliminated. The Lions and Chiefs get a break as the top seeds in each conference and will wait for the lowest-ranked teams to face them in the next round. To clarify, for those new to the game, let's say the Broncos defeat the Bills. The Broncos will then face the Chiefs directly since they were the lowest-ranked AFC team. Now, let's dive into the matchups and my predictions, along with key details on when and where to watch these games. There are two games on Saturday, three on Sunday, and one on Monday. Last year, there was a snowstorm during the Steelers-Bills Wild Card game, which caused the game to be rescheduled to Monday. While snow is expected again in Buffalo this weekend, it's unlikely to cause a major delay.
However, there has already been one change: the Vikings-Rams game was supposed to take place in Los Angeles, but due to the wildfires, it has been moved to Arizona.
Let’s start with the Saturday games. At 6:30 PM (BrasÃlia time), the Chargers will face the Texans. The Chargers are the fifth seed and the Texans are fourth. The Chargers have the best defense in the NFL, allowing fewer than 20 points per game. They’ve also won at least six games on the road this season, a rare feat only matched by teams like the Chiefs, Ravens, and Bengals.
On the other hand, the Texans had a rough season with a few bad losses and many people consider them the weakest team to make the playoffs. In my opinion, the Rams are a better team than the Texans, and maybe even the Steelers, who have been struggling lately.
Despite the Texans' struggles, I think the Chargers will win this game 24-20. Their defense should be too much for the Texans to handle, especially with their inconsistent offense.
Next, at 10 PM, we have the Steelers vs. Ravens, which is another AFC matchup. This will be the third time these two teams meet this season, and it's tied 1-1 so far. The Steelers have had great success against the Ravens, particularly against Lamar Jackson, and they also have a strong playoff record.
However, despite their historical success, the Steelers have a recent tendency to falter in the postseason, like their loss to the Browns a few years ago. The Ravens, on the other hand, are on the rise, with Lamar Jackson playing at an MVP level. The Ravens are also one of the top teams in both rushing offense and rushing defense, something that only two other teams have achieved since 2000.
While the Steelers' defense is one of the best, their offense has been stagnant, especially with George Pickens struggling in recent games. The Ravens have the momentum, and I expect them to win 31-24, though the Steelers may score some late points.
Now, Sunday will feature three games. The first at 3 PM is the Broncos (7th seed) vs. the Bills (2nd seed). The Bills are playing at home, which is always exciting. The Broncos have had a fantastic pass rush this season, ranking first in the NFL with 63 sacks, while the Bills’ defense has allowed only 14 sacks.
Despite the Broncos' defensive prowess, the Bills have Josh Allen, who has an incredible ability to escape pressure and make big plays. Their offense has improved significantly, and I believe they will overcome the Broncos’ defense to secure a win. Stay tuned for my predictions on the rest of the games!
In short, the Trump administration has been a major obstacle for the global left, including the Brazilian left, and its policies have generated great concern among supporters of gender ideology, internet censorship and the elimination of fundamental rights, especially those on the right of the ideological spectrum.
