Did you know that the US government funds the globalist left with hundreds of billions of dollars every year? This is the main finding of a new government department, created under the supervision of Elon Musk, with the aim of cutting up to a trillion dollars from the federal budget and increasing government efficiency.
We have known for a long time that the left operates by infiltrating the various sectors of society. This strategy was developed by Antonio Gramsci, an Italian communist philosopher, who proposed the idea of a cultural revolution carried out from the inside out, using state institutions and society to change culture without people noticing. The idea is to infiltrate universities, the judiciary, culture, the media and even the government, promoting a cultural change that would gradually transform society into a socialist society.
NGOs, or non-governmental organizations, play a key role in this process, as they are the ones who produce studies and create the “raw material” for this cultural transformation. Many of these NGOs are funded by globalist foundations, such as George Soros' Open Society, the Ford Foundation and other international institutions. Soros' investment, for example, amounts to billions of reais a year in Brazil, funding hundreds of NGOs.
These NGOs are often involved in the production of studies and research that shape public opinion, such as studies defending the reduction of penalties for crimes like drug trafficking. When these studies appear in media outlets like Globo, you can be sure that they have been funded by these globalist organizations.
Recently, it was discovered that the biggest funder of the global left is not just these globalist billionaires, but the US government itself. According to Elon Musk, who posted this information on his social networks, the budget allocated to NGOs and social programs in the US government is impressive. In 2020, it exceeded 300 billion dollars, an amount far greater than the budgets of the Department of Education, the Department of Transportation and even the Department of Veterans Affairs.
This huge budget fuels a veritable machine for promoting left-wing causes. Musk, in one of his first moves to cut government spending, announced the elimination of more than a billion dollars from programs linked to representation and quota policies, which have already been ruled unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court.
Musk's goal, and that of others who support these reforms, is to ensure transparency in the use of public resources. They believe that by controlling this budget, it is possible to prevent it from being diverted to political causes without proper oversight, which could undermine democracy itself.
This issue extends beyond the US and directly affects Brazil. Mike B, a former US State Department official during the Trump administration, revealed that these funds are being used to finance censorship in several countries, including Brazil. Fact-checking agencies, study groups at universities and even journalists receive money from these foundations and the US government to promote internet censorship. One example is the USAID program, linked to the State Department, which was the subject of an investigation in 2024. Trump even blocked these funds, not only for Brazil, but also for several other countries.
The center of this whole process of censorship and manipulation is called the Global Engagement Center, along with the National Endowment for Democracy, an organization that serves as an umbrella for these projects.
